During my year in Hong Kong, from late 2015 to mid-2016, the city revealed itself to me through three different neighborhoods. I moved from the bustling streets of Sham Shui Po, to the electric energy of Causeway Bay, and finally to the seaside charm of Kennedy Town. Each move gave me a new lens on the city, and my camera naturally followed.
I found myself walking the same streets day after day, but they never felt the same twice. Above, Hong Kong’s famous skyscrapers reached for the clouds, but it was the world at street level that truly captivated me – the everyday theater of life unfolding in the shadows of those gleaming towers.
